The Story
Deshi Wool is the local wool of the shepherds in the Kutch Desert of India. Â It is handspun and slightly rough in texture. Featuring supplemental weft designs at the borders and a lovely textured yarn naturally dyed with lac & marigold. This desert shawl will keep you warm as an outer layer over any outfit, can be used as a throw in your home, and as a blanket. Â
Fibre: 100% Deshi wool
Process: Hand spun, handwoven and naturally dyed by village artisans in Kutch, IndiaÂ
Size is approx. 37"x 86"
Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water. To protect the natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.Â
Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
