Bhujodi Shawl - Deshi Wool - Alpine Shield

Deshi Wool is the local wool of the shepherds in the Kutch Desert of India.  It is handspun and slightly rough in texture. Featuring supplemental weft designs at the borders and a lovely textured yarn naturally dyed with lac & marigold. This desert shawl will keep you warm as an outer layer over any outfit, can be used as a throw in your home, and as a blanket.  

Fibre: 100% Deshi wool

Process: Hand spun, handwoven and naturally dyed by village artisans in Kutch, India 

Size is approx. 37"x 86"

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water. To protect the natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
