Wool Jawaja Carpet - Large - Poem

A handwoven wool carpet with a sturdy cotton warp made by village artisans in Rajasthan, India. The natural fibres of the local desert sheep make these flat-weave rugs long lasting and durable.

The palette is anchored by the beautiful range of naturally coloured wool from tan, brown and grey sheep.

Fiber: Weft faced wool on a cotton warp.

Size is approx. 4' x 6'

Care Instructions: Plan to wash your carpet in the warmest and driest season. Wash with a hose and wool friendly detergent, scrub with a bristle brush, rinse. Lay flat to dry.

Alternatively, if you don't mind a little shrinkage, we have had good success washing these on a gentle cycle in the washing machine and drying on medium heat.
